“Loved my stay here. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, felt like talking to friends. Room was very clean and comfortable. Restaurant and Lounge were awesome. Loved that they had a pool table in the Lounge. The property was beautiful! It was a very relaxing weekend for my husband and I. My only slight complaint is that the pool was not heated as much as I hoped it would be. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We loved our stay here. Everything was so beautiful! The buildings…rooms…landscaping…..restaurant with excellent food, music and attentive service…very friendly fun staff and excellent service overall. Very reasonable rates. Clean as a whistle were the rooms…grounds…pool. It was a true oasis in the desert of Hiway 5! If your plans put you anywhere near…don’t miss it. A gem.”

“If you are ever anywhere in the area of this vast sea of farmland… stay the night here. This hotel is an absolute JEWEL of a place that you would never expect out here. I chose this overnight due to their dog friendly policy and that it had an interesting story. This by far was our best stay so far on the end of week two of a three week road trip. The property is absolutely beautiful, the staff is soooooo nice from front desk to security to the wonderful onsite restaurant. They have a gorgeous garden, pool area and lots of places to just sit and relax. They have a killer dog park onsite along with a welcome sign for pups with cookies, so these folks take dog friendly to a new level! Our room was very comfortable with all the amenities (microwave, fridge, iron/board, toiletries) and the beds were wonderful. They have a cute little gift shop with some branded items… I picked up a dog toy and bowl to remember our five star stay!”

“We have greatly enjoyed this venue for three events. A year ago, we had a huge family reunion to celebrate Mom's 95th birthday, filling the Cabrillo Room with five generations sharing memories abd songs. Great food, great times. Last January, my wife and I had our adult kids join us for one table in the Balboa Room. We were so impressed with the location that we decided to use the entire Balboa room for a destination reunion of 50 relatives after Mom's funeral and interment at the National Cemetery near Santa Nella. Great choice. Dinner and service was outstanding. We used their big screen to continuously run a slide show of Mom's life. Afterwards, the fire pits and swimming pool were perfect locations for adults to hang out and for kids to get their wiggles out. The hot tub was perfect. We reserved a block of about 17 rooms, with most of the family staying at a Hotel Mission de Oro. We got lots of compliments from our family on how wonderful this little paradise was, and we are thinking about continuing this as a destination to regularly gather the hug family on a regular basis.”

“Stayed one night(Saturday) , never been here before but I was impressed on how clean everything was, I was shocked to see the gorgeous grounds without one piece of litter anywhere, absolute perfection on the grounds and the spacious room we had. The restaurant was awesome , from the food to the staff , very good food. I was also in awe of the huge greenhouse they have onsite , growing vegetables using state of the art products . The cleaning staff to the security staff was very friendly and smiling and informative. Will for sure be coming back soon. Thanks again for all the work you folks do to make a great stay for us.”
